These terms may be amended over time. As long as you continue to use the site, you are deemed to accept the revised terms.
Copyright

Contributions to the Healthy Weight for Children Hub
By contributing any content to the Hub (e.g. by adding a resource, contributing to a discussion forum or the noticeboard, or adding an Intervention), you are giving the SWPHO permission to make that content publicly available, free of charge, on www.healthyweight4children.org.uk
When adding content to the Hub you will be asked to confirm that you have read the Healthy Weight for Children Hub terms and conditions. By accepting these terms and conditions when adding content, you are providing us with the assurance that you are doing so within the law and that correct and lawful permissions have been given where necessary (e.g. for use of photographs of individuals).
In order that the SWPHO can use your contribution, you confirm that it is either your own or your organisation's original work, is not defamatory and does not infringe any UK laws, and that you have the right to give us permission to use it.
When making a contribution, we will ask for your name and email address so that we can contact you with any queries if necessary. We do not usually show your name, unless you have given us permission to do so. For more about privacy on www.healthyweight4children.org.uk see our privacy policy.
You or your organisation will retain the copyright in your contribution.
Rules for contributors
You agree to abide by the following rules for contributing to the www.healthyweight4children.org.uk (e.g. adding resources, posting messages on the noticeboard and discussion forums, adding details to the Interventions database):
1. If you are under the age of 16, you must get the permission of a parent/guardian to contribute to www.healthyweight4children.org.uk
2. Never reveal any personal information about yourself or anyone else (including full name, email address, telephone number etc.) in any postings on the noticeboard or discussion forums.
3. You agree to use the Healthy Weight for Children Hub lawfully. Contributions must not be defamatory, or violate or infringe the rights of others, including copyright, trade mark, privacy or data protection rights.
4. Do not contribute photographs or audio/visual material of anyone without correct and lawful permission to do so. For photographs, you must have a signed and appropriately worded model release form (i.e. that specifically includes a statement giving permission to use the photograph on third party websites). In the case of photographs of children, the release form must be signed by a parent/guardian. By accepting these terms and conditions when adding photographs to the Healthy Weight for Children Hub, you are providing us with the assurance that the correct permissions have been given.
5. Only contribute material in which you or your organisation owns the copyright.
6. Posts on the Healthy Weight for Children Hub noticeboard and discussion forums must be civil, tasteful and relevant.
They must not:
- be defamatory (damaging to the reputation of a person or organisation);
- be offensive or abusive (sexually, racially), unlawful, harassing, threatening, obscene, profane or otherwise objectionable;
- incite people to commit a crime;
- advertise or promote a commercial product;
- impersonate someone;
- be in a language other than English;
- be content that you have copied from someone else;
- contain swear words;
- be spam - don't repost the same message lots of times;
- contain personal information (yours or anyone else's) - including names, email addresses etc.
Moderation of contributions
The Healthy Weight for Children Hub Team moderates all user contributions. This means that we will check, sometimes edit and either approve or reject your contribution. Contributions will be rejected if they violate any UK laws or are not in accordance with the Healthy Weight for Children Hub 'Rules for Contributors'. Whenever possible, we will contact you to let you know when we have edited or rejected a contribution.
The SWPHO reserves the right to delete any contribution on the Healthy Weight for Children Hub website at any time, for any reason.
