Training support

Hi
I am trying to develop a training session for school nurses to help them raise the issue of weight with parents and start talking about diet and exercise for primary school children. Can anyone recommend a package or some information I can access to help with this?

We developed a training package for school nurses on healthy lunchbox in BANES. Members of the school nurse team also have access to the lunchbox toolkits from the PCT.

The toolkit contains a set of British replica food, a large eat well plate food mat, notes and laminated slides, food packagings, salt/sugar kit and a scale.

We are in the early stages of developing training for school nurses and would welcome any information you have gleaned about suitable packages etc

i have a CD rom from the Food & Drink federation which must have been made 3 yrs ago. It contains an interactive CD. This maybe of use although i have never used it.
we are about to run 12 week course for primary school children and their parents which is centred around practical multi-skills to educate about healthy eating and physical activity
